What's Canopy?
CanopyCanopy was originally developed in Central America as a way to see the rainforest in an ecological way, limiting foot traffic and allowing visitors to see the forest from a bird's eye view. Specially constructed platforms that do not harm the trees are built up to 50 meters above the ground. The Coihue tree lives for hundreds of years and grows to immense proportions, providing the perfect scene for a canopy trail. The entire adventure lasts about two and a half hours, and trained guides will help you put on your harness and explain the necessary safety precautions, and get you in the trees to glide down cables using a pulley system designed especially for canopy. You'll feel like Tarzan as you swing from treetop to treetop!
