What is the difference between cabin, bungalow, and condo?

In the past Bariloche was seen as an exclusive get-away for the upper class, but in recent years (thanks to a currency devaluation) a number of lodging options have opened up.  Due to the number of independent and mom-and-pop establishments, and the lack of a clear rating system, each owner can classify his/her business however they like.  This leads to a lot of descrepency between what a "three star cabin" really means.

Cabins are usually independent structures and you do not share walls with neighbors. However, some advertise cabins which are actually closer to what most would consider an apartment.

Condos are apartment/flat style accomodation, that generally means several "units" under one roof, sometimes in a mult-floor building.

Bungalows are  are similar to condos, but occasionally are independent structures.  They are sort of a hybrid catch-all, but mostly are single floor structures.

Other lodging options are hotels, private homes, or private apartments.  Most private options are cheaper but have the disadvantage that there is no on-site administrator.  A Barilochetrips representative will always be available as well to help during your stay in Bariloche.
