A full day tour leaving from Puerto Pañuelo crossing the Nahuel Huapi Lake to Puerto Blest and the Cántaros Waterfall. First, and hour ride on a catamaran to Puerto Cántaros - breathtaking views of the National Park and the rugged Patagonian landscape from the lake. Here there is a guided walk on a trail under native forest full of vegetation. The waterfall itself is 852 meters above sea level, and nearby is a 1500 year old "alerce" (a cousin of the sequia). On the opposite side of the bay is Puerto Blest, which is home to a hotel, restaurant, and national park ranger station. There is also a small theme park, apart from the numerous trails, to explore and learn more about the local flora and fauna. An optional addition to this trip is the journey by bus to Frias Lake, with a stop at Puerto Frias. This lake is remarkable for the color of its waters - fresh glacier water, pure and natural. Cost is per person. Additional cost for hotel pickup.
