Fishing in Patagonia
Fly FishingBariloche offers a unique fly fishing adventure in the “wilds” of Patagonia, the southernmost region of Argentina.  The best time to come is between November 1 and April 30, when almost all rivers and lakes are open for fishing.  The rest of the year fishing is limited to just a few places.

Rivers change throughout the season, and the same is true for the behavior of trout. The varying water conditions and fishing pressure constantly puts the trout in search of new habitats. We will take you to these rarely fished waters, away from civilization, and only accessible by floating trips, expeditions, or off-road vehicles.

Fly fishing the rivers and lakes of Patagonia is an experience that will create lifelong memories. Our trips are intended to provide our guests with a comfortable and safe fly fishing experience. From Bariloche and Junin de los Andes you can fish the following dream rivers and lakes: Limay, Manso, Pichileufu, Malleo, Chimehuin, Alumine, Collon Cura, Caleufu, Quemquemtreu, Fonck and Hess Lake. With such a diversified selection of rivers and lakes, normally we fish all of these in many different areas to give the angler a broader experience.  We also fish the Nahuel Huapi National Park and Lanin National Park, where natural surroundings are extremely beautiful.

River FishingAvailable options range from one day guided fly fishing excursions to full service, all-inclusive lodging packages. Our guests have the option to visit a variety of destinations, always in comfort, with first-class lodging and meals of the highest standard.

With nine different lodging options, twelve rivers and lakes, and five different floating expeditions, we are able offer you a diverse and comprehensive program to fit your needs and experience.

Argentina is the country to visit, Patagonia is the place to fish.  See our current fishing and boating offerings here .
