Bariloche, Argentina
ArgentinaArgentina is home to championship soccer, tango, gauchos, and excitement. From the cosmopolitan city of Buenos Aires, to the impressive Iguazu Falls in the north, all the way to Tierra del Fuego at the southern tip, the diversity and opportunities for tourism are mind-boggling. In the 90's, when the Argentina peso was pegged to the value of the US Dollar, travellers tended to avoid coming here due to high prices. Now, however, the country offers first world comforts at third world prices. And the locals are eager to bring in more foreign tourism.

There are many advantages to visiting Argentina: no wars, no natural disasters, no exotic diseases, and a peaceful, democratic government. In the east there are miles of Atlantic beach, in the west the legendary Andes Mountains, in the northeast the start of the tropical rainforest, in the northwest the high altitudes and traditional native cultures, in the center the expansive Pampas, and in the south Patagonia.

Here at Barilochetrips we specialize in the Lake District in and around Bariloche. It is the gateway city to Patagonia, open year-round. We offer information to travellers who may not be familiar with the area, and can help arrange a great trip to the area.
